How to Connect your Instagram account
There are 2 ways to connect your Instagram account so that Social Jazz can automatically publish your posts for days that have scheduled content.
Option #1: Connect from a post
When your Instagram account is not connected in Social Jazz, you will see a bright yellow alert on Instagram posts.
Click the Connect your Instagram account link in the yellow alert box to start the connection process.
Option #2: Connect from Settings
Alternatively, you can click Settings in the upper right corner of the app, click Social Media Settings, then click the Connect to Instagram button.
Facebook & Instagram Authorization
With either Option 1 or 2, you will be brought to several Facebook authorization screens. Facebook owns Instagram and you need to have your Instagram account connected to Facebook.
Click the Continue as {name}, where {name} is the name you use on your personal account. Normally this is your first and last name.
When asked "What Instagram Business Accounts do you want to use...", click Select All then click Next.
When asked "What Pages do you want to use...", click Select All then click Next.
The permissions Social Jazz is requesting will be shown on screen. Each permission will be toggled on and the word Yes will appear next to each. Do not change the permission settings as it will prevent Social Jazz from automatically publishing to your Instagram account.
Click Done, then click OK.
If by chance you have more than one Instagram account tied to your Facebook account, you will be asked which one you want to connect Social Jazz to. Select the page and click Continue.
Confirmation
On successful connection, you will be returned to the Social Jazz app, and the yellow alert box will no longer appear on your Instagram posts. You can also verify your connection by going to Settings-->Social Media Settings, where you will see "Connected to" and the name of the account that is connected.
After Instagram is connected, posts will be automatically published to your Instagram account on the days that have scheduled content.
